Carola Sieling

Carola Sieling has been working as a lawyer for more than two decades and has extensive experience in advising and representing clients in data protection and IT law. After working in the legal department of Wincor Nixdorf AG (2003-2005) and gaining initial experience as a freelancer, she founded the Sieling Law Firm in Paderborn in 2006. As part of the continuous expansion of the firm, she opened a second office in Hamburg in 2008. In 2009, she was awarded the title of board certified specialist for information technology law (IT law) in recognition of her outstanding expertise.

In addition to her work as a lawyer, Carola Sieling has been involved in academic teaching for many years: she passes on her knowledge to students as a lecturer at the Flensburg University of Applied Sciences (2008-2017) and the University of Paderborn (2011-2017), as well as a lecturer at the Nordakademie (since 2017).

Since 2019, Carola Sieling has been managing partner of Technologiewerft GmbH, where she contributes her legal and technological expertise. In addition, she joined the SCHOMERUS team in 2025, where she contributes her many years of experience in data protection and IT law.

Ms. Sieling is a board certified specialist for information technology law and has extensive expertise in the areas of data protection law, IT law, and Internet law. Her in-depth technical knowledge also enables her to provide sound advice in these highly complex areas.
