We are proven experts with great enthusiasm for good causes.

For many years, we have been auditing and advising internationally active aid and donation organizations, as well as complex organizations of the voluntary welfare sector with a wide variety of fields of work, foundations in the field of art and culture, sports clubs, nature conservation associations and research institutions. In addition, we are involved in a wide variety of areas through our own voluntary work.

Through our participation in committees such as the scientific advisory board of the "Bündnis für Gemeinnützigkeit", the jury of the "Deutscher Engagementpreis" or supervisory boards of non-profit organizations, as well as through personal contact with holders of leading university chairs with a focus on non-profit and foundation law, we are promptly informed about current (tax) legal and political developments in the 3rd sector.

We share this knowledge from practical work and networks mainly through our regular lecture events "FORUM Gemeinnützigkeit" but also through speaker activities at the "Humboldt Universität Berlin", the "NPO academy" and the "Deutsche StiftungsAkademie".

Since 2019, the SCHOMERUS team has been providing us with very competent support in the areas of VAT law, labor law and in the execution of payroll accounting and annual financial statements.
